Introducing Caimi Brevetti
Caimi was founded in 1949. It is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of designer furniture and home furnishings. It can playfully cope with home, office and contract environments. Its subsidiary Snowsound, which has already dominated all international markets through its own distribution network, has focused its scientific and technological research on acoustics and invented a range of materials and solutions that absorb sound and bring comfort to the whole space. Caimi products are designed, developed and manufactured in Italy. Some Cami pieces have even been exhibited in international design museums and have received worldwide recognition. They boast, for example, two Compasso d'Oro awards, three Germany Design Awards and the DesignEuropa award from the European Union Intellectual Property Office.
Since its foundation in 1949, the company has believed that it is essential to protect its inventions and work with a patent, because, as its founder Renato Cami says : "Ideas are the only human capital". Hundreds of Caimi products are therefore protected by patents as a guarantee of attention to utility and originality. This determined approach has elevated the brand to the stars of the exhibition "Disegno e Design - Brevetti e creatività italiani" and winner of the first edition of "DesignEuropa". A green mindset
Caimi has always been mindful of environmental issues and ecological sustainability. Where technically possible, the company uses recyclable or reusable materials. Production consists mainly of one-piece, easily recyclable items, and items made of multiple materials are designed to be disassembled in most cases, ensuring that individual components are recycled. Approximately 90% of Caimi's products are processed within a 30km radius of the central plant where the logistics centre is located, significantly reducing travel for product transportation and reducing fuel consumption. Snowsound's technology and fabrics have received Greenguard Gold certification, confirming that they are low-emission products that contribute to improving indoor air quality.

Caimi has been involved in many projects in public spaces. Here are some of the most successful projects. The Reggia di Monza Museum in Italy, for example, relied on the classic white stackable Kaleidos chairs. Russia's Vladivostok International Airport also relied on Caimi to furnish its departure lounges with stylish red benches. Good acoustics are essential for offices, meeting rooms and universities. One of the most successful projects to use acoustic fibres is the modern Babson College in Saudi Arabia.
