Alberto Lievore
Alberto Lievore was born in 1984 in Buenos Aires. He received his university degree from the University of Buenos Aires. In 1976, he moved to Europe to Barcelona, where he developed his design activity and worked in a wide range of sectors. Together with Jorge Pensi, he created the SIDI platform, which aims to increase the value of Spanish design. Lievore is best known for his work in furniture, both in Europe, America and Asia. Over the years, his design activities have been recognized and awarded with prestigious national and international prizes such as the Iconic Awards, the iF Gold Award and the Compasso d'oro.
He is particularly successful in his collaboration with Italian companies, which includes both strategic consulting and brand and product communication. He organises courses and workshops at universities, especially in Barcelona. His approach focuses on changing the magnitude of the designer's subjectivity in observing reality in order to develop a more penetrating and solid critical spirit. He is part of the Barcelona-based studio Lievore + Altherr Désile Park, which specializes in product design and development, strategic consulting and ephemeral architecture for internationally renowned design companies. It designs projects using established strategies.
