Alessandro Stabile

Born in Milan, Italy, Alessandro Stabile founded his own art studio at the age of 26. It is no wonder that soon afterwards the Italian Cultural Institute in New York listed him among the ten most talented young industrial designers. In 2016, Alessandro celebrated double success at Milan Design Week. His projects won first and second prizes in the Young & Design category, which focuses on the best work by creatives under 35. In 2021, the Chair 1:1 project was even nominated for the prestigious Compasso d'Oro!

Alessandro Stabile designs modern pieces with an exceptional regard for environmental sustainability. Among other things, thanks to its ecological dimension, the Taco chair, created for the brand LaCividina, won the design competition of the online magazine Archiproducts in 2022. A year later, the studio was even able to enjoy the prestigious Red Dot Design Award won for the minimalist OTO chair, made from recycled plastic. Today, the Alessandro Stabile studio boasts dozens of iconic pieces and several design patents. He has long been involved in the creative direction of several of the world's leading brands, including Moleskine, De' Longhi and Alessi.
