Annette Lang

Annette Lang, born in 1960, studied industrial design at the Academy of Arts in Stuttgart. She then moved to Milan and worked freelance for Matteo Thun, Antonio Citterio and Sottsass Associati between 1985 and 1988. From 1988 to 1993 she was assistant to Professor Richard Sapper at the Stuttgart Academy of Art and since 1988 has run her own design studio in Wiesbaden.

Her work focuses on the development and design of consumer goods in the areas of household goods, tableware, office, furniture, lighting and medical technology. Annette Lang has participated in many national and international exhibitions and has won numerous awards for her work. From 1994 to 1999 she was a lecturer at the Academy of Arts in Stuttgart.
