Brian Thoreen

American designer and artist Brian Thoreen divides his time between Los Angeles and Mexico City. His main focus is on materials and novel elements. He puts a great deal of emotion, playfulness and experimentation into his work, but he is not lacking in precision technique and functionality. He works with furniture and lighting as well as interiors and architectural installations. As a reflection of his nomadic life, he co-founded the nomadic gallery Masa. He has also put his creativity into lamps for the Italian brand Tacchini, for example.
