Bruno Houssin

Bruno Houssin is a French designer and teacher at the design school in Nantes. He holds a university degree in interior architecture and design. At the age of just 23, he founded his own studio, Zébulon , in Paris, specializing in space organization and product design. Bruno Houssin's work stands out for its innovative approach. When designing furniture and lighting, he takes into account the future adaptation of products to possible new uses. He likes to bring a poetic atmosphere to interiors with his pieces. Among Bruno's most commercially successful projects is the Flap lighting system created for the premium lighting brand Artemide, which works with different types of light sources in a functional way. The modern Tid'jou de Soca chair is another great example of how the increasingly popular rotomoulding method can be used effectively in the industry.

Bruno's creativity does not lag behind in the ecological and sustainability dimension either. The Kulbu project for Sokoa uses raw material extracted from sugar cane residue to produce furniture. Bruno Houssin has won prestigious design awards, including two Red Dot Design Awards. Take a look at the KANAL reception desk designed for the Slide brand, which lights up commercial, office and public spaces.
