Carlo Trevisani

Carlo Trevisani is a designer originally from Italy. He graduated from the Higher Institute of the Art Industry (ISIA) in Faenza with a thesis on the experimental use of paraffin wax in lighting technology. Around the year 2000, he began collaborating with several designers, namely Paolo Zanimi, Stefano Gallizioli and Matteo Thune. He worked with them in their design studios, which were based in Milan. Since 2008 he has been working as an independent designer.

Trevisani is still interested in experimental contributions in the world of design and architecture. He focuses on deepening the meaning of the interaction between people and objects within the affective and emotional relationship that arises on a daily basis.
