Dymitr Malcew
Dymitr Malcew is a renowned Polish designer. He studied architecture and urban planning at the Technical University of Gdansk. In 2006 he moved to London and four years later he travelled to Asia where he decided to settle down. He gained experience working with renowned design firms and currently runs his own firm in Singapore.
Malcew has been involved in projects in most Asian countries: Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, India, Burma, Vietnam, Taiwan and the Philippines. His client list ranges from prestigious companies and other dynamic businesses to private investors looking for innovation. Dymitr works in many areas of business, designing modern desks and luxury hotels or private residences. He makes perfect use of his extensive knowledge of architecture and applies it to furniture design and product creation. One of his most innovative projects is the TREEHOUSE acoustic furniture collection for Bejot, which easily creates an island of calm in the middle of a busy space.
