Ewald Winkelbauer

The German designer Ewald Winkelbauer is particularly famous for designing designer stationery. Some of the most famous ones include the redesign of the Boss Textmarker for the Stabilo brand, which is probably on everyone's desk. But beyond that, he is known for his long-standing collaboration with the Stern brand, creating furniture for private and public use, designing lighting fixtures and kitchen utensils. His passion, which began during his student days, is clocks. He projects creative subtext and elegance into Progetti pieces.

He has received prestigious international design awards for a number of products (Red Dot Design Award, German Design Award and many others) and his work can also be found in the MIK Museum in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Ewald Winkelbauer' s philosophy is "Understanding with all the senses". And his portfolio is proof that he has followed this motto throughout his life.
