Florent Coirier
Florent Coirier is a French designer who was born in Nantes and now lives and works in Paris. He holds a BA in Product Design from the Paris School of Art and an MA in Applied Design from the Institute of Art and Design in Birmingham. He has worked with several major design agencies such as the Christophe Pillet studio. Today he works as a freelancer in his studio near Montmartre.
Coirier designs simple products that are strong in their meaning, always practical and functional. From lighting to furniture to small decorative objects, FLORENT COIRIER DESIGN STUDIO develops products based on a detailed knowledge of industrial processes. Each project is developed in close collaboration with its manufacturers. Florent Coirier aims to create timeless products, most of which are simple at first glance, but whose thoughtful specific details make them unique.
