Gerald Brandstatter

Gerald Brandstätter is a true cosmopolitan designer: he was born in Switzerland to an Austrian father and a Dutch mother. After studying at the School of Design in Zurich, he went on to study at the Art Center College of Design in California and graduated with a BA in Product Design. In 1994 he opened his first interior design studio , Conzepta , in Zurich and a second in 1998 called Conzept-B GmbH. He currently works for companies in Austria, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Italy.

In addition to being a designer, he lectures at various design schools and is an independent contributor to design and architecture magazines. He has worked at Alberta Pacific Furniture srl since April 2008.
