Gerardo Marì

Born in Santa Fe, Argentina, he is a designer, inventor and musician. Gerardo Marì is a multi-talented creator who trained in Electromechanic Technic and Industrial Design. He started making aluminum electric guitars and also founded his own brand of designer chairs, Dozo. When he moved to Italy in 2005, he began his career as head of product design for the well-known lighting brand Artemide. He translated his technical knowledge into a number of designs for global companies, for example he designed the FREEBIRD cuckoo clock for the Italian brand Progetti . In his work he has also met many important designers(Karim Rashid, Ernesto Gismondi, Michele de Lucchi, etc.) He now teaches his art of combining functionality with design at training programmes in Madrid and Milan.
