Giacomo Cattani

Giacomo Cattani was born in 1961 in Italy. After his studies, he worked for two years for an important Venezuelan architect, with whom he developed his artistic creativity, which led him to decide to pursue a career in design and architecture. Therefore, in 1990 he opened his own studio dedicated to architecture and design. Cattani's activities are broad - ranging from industrial design to interior design. Since 2003 he has been an important member of the graduate committees at the Faculty of Design of the Polytechnic of Milan, in order to pass on his knowledge and help future people in the field.

Each of his designs is unique. He likes to focus on the essence of the product, which at the same time must be practical and multifunctional. Cattani is very fond of returning to the idea of simplicity and minimalism. This, along with sustainability and aesthetics, are indispensable qualities of each of his design products.
