Gianluigi Landoni
Gianluigi Landoni, a graduate in architecture from Politecnico di Milano, co-founded the design trend group Amalgama in 1985. From 1988 to 1990 he worked as project manager in Rodolfo Bonetto's studio. Since 1991 he has been a partner of Progetica Design, where he has been carrying out research and development in industrial design. He has also worked on designs and projects for furniture companies in the hotel and commercial sectors and has participated in exhibitions and competitions, where he has received many awards.
He is contemporary, holistic, romantic and sometimes radical and post-modern, but always with a touch of irony, emphasising that good design is a successful blend of aesthetics and functionality that always puts people, their needs and desires at the centre of the world. You can see this philosophy in the seating collection he created for Sovet.
