Gillo Dorfles
Gillo Dorfles, one of the most internationally acclaimed theorists and critics of art, design and architecture, has been around design and designers since the 1930s. He was constantly engaged with cutting-edge styles and languages and perceived the world without aesthetic preconceptions. Gill embraced an eclecticism that for him meant having an open mind, not sacrificing his own identity or undertaking unique intellectual adventures. Painting was a permanent part of his life.
