Giovanni Giacobone & Massimo Roj

Both artists work together in the Progetto CMR office, which Massimo Roj founded in 1994. He still runs his firm today and is also the author of several publications on architecture and sustainability. Progetto CMR specialises in integrated design with the aim of creating flexible, efficient and sustainable architecture. It has 12 offices worldwide, employing more than 150 professional engineers and architects. Progetto CMR is dedicated to projects of different scales, combining an experimental dimension and the multidisciplinary expertise of its people. Since 2010, it has been one of the top 100 design firms in the world, listed in the prestigious BD World Architecture Top 100.

Giovanni Giacobone is an architect and designer who has managed and coordinated the industrial design division at Progetto CMR since 1999. He creates products for the home and office that integrate design, technology, functionality and environmental sustainability. The quality of the design work done has been recognized with many awards such as Red Dot Award 2016, IF Design Award 2016, LUX Middle East Award 2016, ADI Design Index 2003, 2004, 2006, 2014, Grandesign 2004, Good Design 2008 and 2010.
