Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà

Giuseppe Maurizio Scutellà was born in 1962 in Alcamo, Sicily, and later moved with his family to the province of Brescia, an active industrial centre in Lombardy. Here he trained as an industrial specialist with a mechanical engineering background, and subsequently worked with a number of companies in the area, which broadened his technical knowledge.

For twelve years he worked as a designer of die-castings and plastic moulds for major companies such as Mercedes, Prisma, Ducati Bonfiglioli and Artemide. Scutellà is considered an industrial designer who focuses on a range of important design and artistic movements of the last century. He designs products that are technical and artistic at the same time.
