Gupica

Under the identity Gupica, artist Gunila Zamboni creates pieces full of creativity and perfection. She first studied foreign language literature, but after graduating, she turned to the art of fresco and mural painting at the University of Florence and completed her Master's degree in Versailles, France. She later switched to interior design, continually improving her decorative painting techniques and continued to study design.

In her studio, she works in many disciplines from decorative arts to interior and product design to experimentation and craftsmanship. Often combining the contemporary with tradition, her projects exude imaginative and delicate beauty of detail. She creates installations for exhibitions, murals, glass objects and lighting fixtures, such as the SIPARIO pendant lamp by FIAM.
