Inga Sempé

Talented designer Inga Sempé has worked with a number of major brands around the world. She emphasises sustainability and simplicity, but breaks away from classic minimalism. Born in 1968 in Paris, she graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle. She then worked for a while at the French Academy at Villa Medici in Rome. In 2000, she opened her own studio and devotes herself to the design of furniture, lighting and home accessories. She first designed for Italian brands, but then expanded to French or Scandinavian brands. Among the most famous are Cappellini, Edra, HAY, Alessi and Magis. She has also had many solo and shared exhibitions and a Red Dot Design Award.
