Kuno Prey

New technologies and materials are the key to success for an Italian designer and educator named Kuno Prey . The innovator was born in 1953 and, after graduating in Art and Design, devoted himself to experimentation in his own studio. He managed to develop a number of products that have won many international awards. In 1993, he became a professor of product design at the Bauhaus-Universität in Weimar, Germany. A decade later he returned to his native country and founded the Faculty of Design and Art at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, which is now one of the most prestigious schools in Europe.
