Lorenzo Stano

Lorenzo Stano was born in 1950 in Santeramo. After studying art, he completed his design education at the European Institute of Design in Milan, Italy, where he currently lives and works. In 1973 he began working with Candle, a lighting manufacturer. Later, as a consultant and freelance designer for the same company, he gained experience in lighting. The knowledge he gained as a lighting designer enabled him to design products for major companies in the industry and develop lighting projects in both the civil and commercial sectors. In 1980, he opened his own professional studio and began working with and advising companies in various industries. He designed furniture, accessories, lighting fixtures and objects for a number of companies.
