Luca Casini
Luca Casini graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic and subsequently taught at the Faculty of Industrial Design. In 1997 he founded the Luca Casini Design Studio in Milan. Casini has worked with many leading Italian companies and major industrial groups abroad, especially in Germany and the United States. He has worked as an industrial designer in various fields, designing fashion accessories and home accessories, from eyewear to jewelry, cutlery, handles and furniture. Casini won many international awards and some of his works have been exhibited in exhibitions and museums in Italy and abroad. His work has been published in leading trade magazines. He is the recipient of the Good Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, Design Plus and other design awards. His design career has been characterized by a linear yet eclectic language of expression that is in harmony with the richness and complexity of the historical present.
