Luigi Cittadini

Influences from different cultures, the search for contrasts and unusual combinations of materials and shapes. The fact that the talented designer Luigi Cittadini was born in the Moroccan city of Casablanca to an Italian father and a French mother makes his perception of aesthetics influenced by different directions completely unique. He studied Industrial Product Design and Design & Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano. He eventually settled in Valencia, Spain. Different brands approach him for collaborations mainly due to his unmistakable handwriting. He has won many design awards for his furniture and lighting designs. For example, he has designed several unique lamps for the Portuguese lighting manufacturer Flam & Luce, as well as a number of other European companies.
