Marco Maran
Marco Maran was born in Siena in 1963. Trained as an architect and industrial designer, he was voted best young designer at the 1996 Young & Design fair in Milan. His notable completed interiors include the press room for the 1998 World Cup in Paris. He is highly regarded for his design works that are lightweight and flexible.
His current work is realized through collaborations with Maxdesign and Casprini, for whom he designs seating collections unique for their lightness, elegance, yet playful structure. Among his most striking pieces are the Hoop chair, or the upholstered and generous My Flower armchair.
