Marco Zito
Marco Zito was born in 1966. He makes his living as an architect and graduated with Vittorio Gregotti at the IUAV in 1994. Since the 1990s he has been teaching industrial design at the Faculty of Design and Art of IUAV Venice. He has been invited as a lecturer at the Industrial Design Center in Montevideo, Uruguay, at the San Marco Center in Kigali, Rwanda and at the IMC - Industrial Modernization Center in Cairo. His studio in Venice specializes in product design, interior design and architecture. Marco's first steps in industrial design started in Murano in the world of blown glass with the Salviati furnace. His research in design focuses on the possibilities of different themes and technologies.
Venice, the home of his studio, is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for projects, be it a small glass vase or large-scale architecture. As a result, he has established himself as a designer for Olivetti, Frezza, Lavazza, Plust, Coin, OVS Group, Electrolux, Casamania, Danieli Group, Fila, Viabizzuno, Bosa, Saba, Masiero, Bross and Moroso.
