Marconato & Zappa

Maurizio Marconato and Terry Zappa were born in Como, Lombardy, and both graduated with honours in architecture from the prestigious Milan Polytechnic University. For a while they worked as independent professionals and in 1991 they founded their studio in Cantù. Since 1981 they have both been active in the field of design, developing products for home and office furniture companies, dealing with the design and functionality of buildings, ensuring the presentation of companies on the market, creating new images for companies, design catalogues and exhibition stands. They are engaged in interior design, designing residential and hotel furniture, shops and showcases. And since 1987 they have added to their activities the restoration or renovation of heritage buildings.
