MARLEEN VALSTAR

Marleen Valstar graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht in furniture and architectural design and has been designing products and interiors since 1998. Looking at the simplicity of the products and designs she has developed, she believes that her inspiration generally comes from the potential of materials. She maintains that product design and functionality are equally important. She has collaborated with several major companies, including Cascando. Some of her work for the brand includes the Flow and Velvet collections.
