Matteo Ragni
Matteo Ragni was born in 1972 in Milan. He studied architecture at the Milan Polytechnic. He is dedicated to design in an industrial and craft context, focusing mainly on questions of function combined with typological innovation. He has worked for many companies where he gained experience, often mixing his activity as a designer with the role of creative director. In 2001, at only 29 years old, he was one of the youngest designers to win the Compasso d'Oro award. He has also won many other national and international awards, which underline his discreet, eclectic approach, always guided by the pursuit of irony and thoughtful design gestures.
During the last few years, Ragni has focused on another goal, which has been to build various networks around client companies, thus starting a process of collaboration, business and cultural support. He works on many cultural initiatives and exhibitions, participates in group shows, teaches and lectures in Italy and abroad.
