Michel Charlot


Efficient concept, quality production and top design. This is what guides Swiss industrial designer Michel Charlot, who was born in 1984 in Lausanne. Here he also studied at the ECAL/University of Art and Design. After working for Jasper Morrison ltd. he set up his own studio in 2009 and began working with major brands such as Vitra, Camper, Muji and VAN ESCH. He also designed the iconic U-turn luminaire for Belux, for which he won several prestigious awards. Besides designing, he also passes on his experience at his alma mater or Tama Art University in Tokyo, Japan.
