Moreno Ferrari
Moreno Ferrari was born in the seaside town of La Spezia, where his parents ran a high-end fashion store. For Moreno Ferrari, fashion is not just an everyday job, but a way of interpreting the world. He is a tireless experimenter whose philosophy makes him inaccessible to any approach to design that does not take into account the fact that research is constant. In 2004 he won the Compasso d'Oro award for his work "Transformabili" for the C.P. Company. He has always strived for a practical utopia capable of bringing to design a constant dialogue between different scales, complementary functions and seemingly disparate technologies and materials. During the 21st Milan Triennale, he came up with a series of "oversized pieces of clothing" that functioned as acoustic panels in the architectural space.
