Neil Poulton

Neil Poulton is a Scottish product designer who began his career studying industrial design in Edinburgh. After graduating in 1985, he went first to Italy, where he worked under famous designers and architects in Milan, and also obtained a Master in Design. He moved to Paris where he has run his own design office since 1992. He is known for his creations in lighting and technological design.

Together with Artemide , he has created a series of innovative lighting fixtures. His work is characterised by technical excellence, outstanding functionality and timeless modern form. Poulton's work is highly regarded worldwide. Many of his designs have been awarded famous prizes such as the Etoile de l'Observateur du Design, the Red Dot Design Award "Best of the Best" and the Compasso d'Oro.
