Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance

Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance is a French designer who works in a wide range of disciplines and materials to create a unified work with a story deeply rooted in nature. Born in 1974 in the south of France, he followed in his father's footsteps, studying sculpture at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d'Art and then studying furniture design at the renowned Les Arts Décoratifs. With a rich creative background, Noé approaches design with instinct and flair, giving shape to projects ranging from architecture to furniture, interiors to bespoke limited edition collections. His sculptural work demonstrates a reverence for the past combined with simplicity of line and a sincere desire to create pieces that last.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with major brands such as Saint Louis, Hermès, Ligne Roset, Cinna, Ceccotti collections, Tai Ping and Bernhardt Design, among others, as well as numerous exhibitions and cultural institutions. In terms of interior design, Noé has designed global boutiques for Montblanc, Air France lounges, the interiors of Ciel de Paris and London Sketch restaurants, as well as private residences. Noé's approach to design celebrates the fusion of materials, nature-inspired shapes and craftsmanship. Examples of his work include the apart chair SHELTER, which he designed for the Italian brand Tacchini.
