Oleg Pugachev
Oleg Pugachev studied product design at the Weißensee School of Art in Berlin. After graduating in 2013, he worked for international design and architecture companies as well as independent projects in furniture and lighting design. This experience led him to found his own studio.
His design always involves a process of balancing different constraints and interests, however straightforward the end result may seem. Each project initiates refinement and knowledge transfer with respect to cultural codes and everyday practices, materials and technologies. Dealing with this complexity requires the designer to continually make and revise decisions accompanied by critical reflection in order to achieve conceptual and formal consistency, adequacy of means and resources - and ultimately contemporary relevance. His work is guided by just such a holistic and pragmatic approach, as can be seen in his collections created for Infiniti.
