Pelikan & Co

Pelikan & Co is a design firm that includes designers Mia Gammelgaard, Niels Gammelgaard, Lars Mathiesen and Ehlén Johansson. Pelikan Design was originally a grouping of designers Niels Gammelgaard and Lars Mathiesen, who are graduates of The Royal Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Copenhagen, where they specialised in industrial design. Their partnership has lasted for many years and has resulted in many successful designs. Later, they were joined by Mia Gamelgaard and Ehlén Johansson.

Mia Lagerman and Ehlén Johansson are part of the design team at Danish design firm Pelikan & Co. Johansson designs mainly for Ikea. Mia combines her creative mind to create products that are characterised by simplicity and functionality and a strong sense of fun and beauty. The addition of Mia and Ehlén has created an energetic design team that combines classic and modern styles with the goal of designing sophisticated products. The designers want to bring a little more comfort, joy and sophistication to ordinary life through their designs.
