Robby & Francesca Cantarutti
Robby Cantarutti and Francesca Petricich founded their own studio in 1995 in Buttrio (Udine), which deals with both industrial design and architecture. The studio has developed several projects for furniture companies such as Arrmet, Natison sedia, Sintesi and Bart design. The designs used to create industrial buildings are based on a careful analysis of both new technologies and the company's production capabilities. Focus on details and fun designs are their signature, without neglecting formal synthesis to achieve maximum results during the production of the work. Some products have received awards in competitions, such as maniago coltelli. As for the architectural works, they have mainly focused on residential units and reflect the above-mentioned features. The most significant collaboration is the contact with the Italian company FAST S.p.A. , which the design duo entered with their iconic Forest collection of chairs and armchairs.
