Ross Lovegrove
Ross Lovegrove was born in 1958 in Cardiff, Wales. He graduated from Manchester Polytechnic with a degree in Industrial Design in 1980 and gained a Master of Design from the Royal College of Art in London in 1983. In the early 1980s he worked as a designer for Frog Design in West Germany on projects for Sony, Apple Computers and later moved to Paris to join Knoll International as a consultant. He became the creator of the highly successful Alessandri office system.
Ross Lovegrove is a designer and visionary whose work is considered the pinnacle of stimulating profound change in the physicality of our three-dimensional world. A deeply human and inventive approach is always embedded in his designs, projecting optimism and innovative vitality into everything he touches, from cameras to cars to trains, aviation and architecture. His interior design work has been realised through his collaboration with Vondom.
