Antonio Maras and Saba CEO Amelia Pegorin have a lot in common. Life has woven together the threads of two seemingly distant paths. Antonio Marras became a designer and artist who stood the fashion world on its head and rewrote its vocabulary with his poetic touch that reconciles apparent opposites. He became acquainted with his profession thanks to the textiles from his father's fabric shop, while Amelia inhaled the scents of fabrics in her mother's dry cleaners. Antonio loved art, dance, theatre and Amelia loved philosophy and poetry.

Amelia creates an identity for Saba based on a philosophical concept, refined to overcome the dualism that divides the world of interior design and specifically furniture making, from minimal and rational to classic and opulent styles. It initiates a project in which products, while remaining faithful to a strict industrial character, shift and move, become deconstructed and their configuration is altered through light and feminine interventions, without changing the mechanisms themselves. The harmonious union between Antonio and Saba has given rise, for example, to the elegant OLTREMARE collection, which, with its comfort and graceful lines, will make any design lover smile.
