Sebastian Bergne

Sebastian Bergne is one of the UK's most respected industrial designers. It's no wonder, after all - his distinctive and deeply human approach can turn everyday objects into unique works of art. Sebastian set up his own studio in 1990 after graduating from the Royal College of Art. The prolific studio churned out one successful design after another and began collecting prestigious international design awards. It became a regular participant in exhibitions and was included in the permanent exhibitions of museums such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Design Museum in London.

Sebastian Bergne's work stands out for its versatility. Together with his team, he is accustomed to applying completely different know-how tailored to a specific project. He has accumulated a wealth of valuable experience through many years of external collaborations with international restaurant brands, companies and individuals, for whom he has designed interiors and supplied bespoke items. He has worked as art director for several established brands, and within his studio as a successful producer of a promising studio collection. Today, Sebastian is a sought-after curator, lecturer, educator and mentor for aspiring designers, among other things.
