Sergi Fernández

Sergi Fernández was born in Barcelona in 1973, studied Industrial Design at Elisava Design University in Barcelona and completed his BA in Design at Southampton University in 1997. He then went on to complete a Master's degree in 3D animation at ESI Design School Barcelona (1999) / 2000) before postgraduate studies in manufacturing engineering at Fundación CIM (University of Barcelona) in 2007 and 2008. He received training at the Benedito Design studio.

After collaborating with various architectural and design studios, in 2000 he founded bap Ingeniería y diseño de producto S.L, a company dedicated to invention and development of engineering projects in the field of patent sales and licensing. Currently, he also works with a number of companies with international reputation as a consultant in charge of design and production. And just one of the projects he has recently been involved in is the design of utilitarian outdoor furniture for Vilagrasa.
