Sergio Bicego

Sergio Bicego was born in 1953, abandoned his classical studies and almost by chance started to work in upholstered furniture. Fascinated by the world around him, he enthusiastically researched shapes and construction techniques, which he then used in the companies where he worked. In 1991 he opened his own studio as an independent designer and two years later began working with Saba Italia.

New challenges and impulses led to the creation of the NEW YORK, PIXEL and COOKIE collections, which he created for Saba. These products were born from new desires that make us live in a less formal way. Bicego tries to adapt his creations to these new stimuli, in which he also puts his passion for innovative shapes and techniques.
