Sergio Mazza

Sergio Mazza is an Italian designer who was born in Milan in 1931. He began his career as a freelance artist, but later began working alongside G. Gramigna in furniture and industrial design. In addition to being a renowned designer, he has also achieved great success in the field of publishing, managing the magazine Ottagono.

He has won many awards, including the Compasso d'Oro for the Artemide Delta lamp and the silver medal for Appartamento italiano at the X Triennale in Milan. In 1967 he started designing for Olivari. His work in lamp design is easily recognizable, the undisputed stars of his work are metal together with white blown glass.
