Simone Bonanni

Searching for new trends and perspectives. Young designer Simone Bonanni believes that aesthetics should combine substance, context, function and taste. He creates pieces full of simple silhouettes that evoke emotions.

Simone Bonanni was born in 1989 in Pordenone, Italy. He graduated from the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and was soon successful with an honorable mention at the 23rd ADI Compasso D'oro. He then moved for a few years to the Dutch studio Marcel Wanders, where he was designer and project manager. But in 2015 he returned to Milan and opened his own studio. He also found his way back to academia, this time as a lecturer in Product Design. His studio works with a number of major brands, including FIAM, Alessi, Moooi and others.
