Street culture blended with art and design elements. This is how the fresh work of the Italian studio Sovrappensiero Design Studio could be defined in a nutshell. It was founded in 2007 in Milan by a duo of designers from the south of Italy, Lorenzo De Rosa and Ernesto Iadevaia. They immediately gained recognition on the Italian scene and won many commissions for major brands. They approach projects from different angles, like to experiment and combine functionality with cutting-edge design. They work on furniture and lighting designs as well as on the design of various everyday objects or decorations. They also create interiors, window displays or exhibition spaces. They cooperate with a number of major companies. These include Porada, Bialetti, Vibram, CHAIRS&MORE and many others. The design duo has already won many prestigious awards for their work.
