Spalvieri & Del Ciotto

Every design product should offer value that tells a story of history and culture that will endure for future generations. This is the main motto of Spalvieri & Del Ciotto Studio, which was created as a place for ideas, research and experimentation. Valentina Del Ciotto and Simone Spalvieri were born in 1982 and met at SAAD Ascoli Piceno University, where they both studied industrial and environmental design. They then went on to study for a Master's degree at the Politecnico di Milano. They then combined both their private and professional lives and opened their studio. They first worked in London and Milan, then moved to the small town of Tolentino. Besides designing, they also both teach at Italian and international universities and run the fashion brand Myths.

Innovative materials and technologies, formal and functional purity. These are the main aspects of the work of the Spalvieri & Del Ciotto studio. The duo has already won numerous awards for products created in collaboration with world-renowned brands. These include the Red Dot Award, China Good Design and the German Design Award. The portfolio includes unique pieces of furniture, lighting, kitchen accessories and electronics. Alax offers, for example, the ATOMO collection, which they designed for the manufacturer S-CAB.
