Tom Kelley

Tom Kelley was born in 1951 in East Germany and moved to West Germany in 1976, where he studied first in Aachen and then at the Munich Academy in Bavaria. He finished his education in Long Beach, California. Early in his career he worked with several major companies, and then established his studio in Munich, and shortly afterwards opened an office also in Venice, where he still lives with his family. Most of his work focuses on chair design.
