The history of the Italian designer furniture brand FRIULSEDIE dates back to 1898, when Pietro Dalmasson, only 16 years old, started to produce Marocca and Marsiglia chairs in the San Giovanni Natisone district of Friuli, following an ancient manufacturing tradition. This area later became, under the leadership of successive generations of the Dalmasson family, the leading producer of chairs for the whole of Italy, skilfully combining time-honoured tradition with modern innovations in the field. Here, the values of Italy's north and south have effectively blended to create the original spirit that still hides under the distinctive "Made in Italy" label.

FRIULSEDIE's modern production hall covers an area of 20,000^m2 and has highly automated production lines that can produce up to 1,000 chairs and 100 tables every day!

The FRIULSEDIE brand pays particular attention to the environmental impact of its activities at all stages of production, from the first idea, design, choice of materials to the actual assembly of the product. All production components are consistently recycled at the end of their useful life.
