Piuma carbon dining chair
On the wave of elegance
The Piuma chair saw the light of day in 2016 when it was created by Italian designer Piero Lissoni. The chair is one of the most revolutionary and interesting projects in Kartell's repertoire. By applying injection moulding techniques in a new way designed for this unique material, Kartell has created a chair that is exceptionally thin (maximum 2 mm) and extraordinarily light (2.2 kg). It is the first time that carbon has been injection moulded. The unprecedented mix of materials makes Piuma extremely light and slim, but also incredibly durable and suitable for outdoor use. The piece is available in 6 colourways - white, black, brick, mustard, grey and pistachio.
Dimensions: w 62 cm x d 54 cm x h 77 cm (seat 43 cm)
