The history of the MAYER Sitzmöbel brand dates back to the end of the 19th century. The furniture company MAYER was founded near Redwitz in Upper Bavaria. The company has been producing seating furniture since the 1960s and today is an internationally important manufacturer of chairs for offices, homes, healthcare facilities and also chairs for children with a practical rising mechanism. The company emphasises healthy seating, product quality and original attractive design.

MAYER CZ in the Czech Republic

The origins of the Czech division of the brand - MAYER CZ date back to 1996, when the company BOHEMIA MULTIP was founded, which was the exclusive dealer of MAYER furniture in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, later renamed MAYER CZ. In addition to the Czech and Slovak Republics, the company also focuses on other foreign markets such as Poland, Hungary, the Baltic States and Slovenia. The MAYER CZ product range differs from MAYER Sitzmöbel products because it is adapted to the needs of the local market.

Growing and health furniture for children and adults

The key product range of MAYER CZ is children's growing furniture.

Mayer has not forgotten about adults either, specializing further in the production of office chairs and even seating furniture designed for medical and laboratory facilities - MEDI.

In 2016, the latest innovative collection Nest Nature was created , which even won the GRAND PRIX award for its original approach to healthy sitting. The Nest Nature collection is aimed at fans of healthy balance seating and is not lacking in ecological overtones.

At the end of 2018, MAYER CZ is now completely in the hands of Czech partners, two managers who have been working in the company for almost the entire duration of its Czech existence, while a new strategic cooperation agreement is signed between MAYER CZ and MAYER Sitzmöbel.
