About RODA

RODA has opened up a whole new era of living that goes beyond your house or apartment. It has connected the interior and exterior in a new language through which both worlds can communicate seamlessly. The RODA brand philosophy is based on the perception of the unique quality of the outdoor environment, which should be approached with the same sensitivity as we approach furnishing the indoor environment. RODA architects and designers believe that the colours and materials used should reflect the spontaneous spirit of being outdoors.

In 2005, the RODA brand teamed up with renowned Italian designer Rodolfo Dordoni. Dordoni came up with the revolutionary Net-work collection, which reinterpreted interior furniture in a completely unique way. In fact, the products were made from materials originally designed for outdoor furniture. RODA thus finally proved that outdoor furniture can be just as elegant and functional as furniture designed for the indoors, while meeting the demanding requirements for durability and longevity. RODA became a household name and continues to set modern trends in outdoor furniture today.

Designers

TheRODA creative team is still made up of Milanese icon Rodolfo Dordoni, who leads the brand's strategic research and pushes it ever higher up the imaginary ladder of style and functionality. Michael Anastassiades is a native Cypriot and a master at blending art and industrial design. His works are characterised by masterful craftsmanship and functional immediacy. The team responsible for the artistic direction of the RODA brand is outside, including Maltese designer Gordon Guillaumier. Colour specialist and stylist Maria Gabriella Zecca has an impeccable grasp of fashion trends and at RODA specialises in the development of outdoor textiles and carpets.
