A brief history of ROSSIN

The company was founded in 1964 by Nerino Rossin in South Tyrol with the aim of producing various types of upholstered furniture, including boxstring beds and mattresses. At the same time, the first model of a chair called Diana was created. In 1978, modular sofas are added to the product portfolio. 7 years later, Rossin is also a commercial success in Austria and Switzerland. At the beginning of the 1990s, Mario Rossin takes over the management of the company. With the turn of the 2000s, the company begins to focus on design collections with an international reach. It also participates for the first time in the Orgatec festival in Cologne, Germany. In 2004, new CEO Klaus Pomella takes over the reins of the company and launches the brand's expansion into the Middle East with a successful presentation in Dubai. Five years later, Rossin exhibits for the first time at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. 2010 is a year of design success - the coco and n@t models win the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. And the award-winning trend continues to this day.

The brand collaborates with renowned international designers, including the Tuscan creative duo Archirivolto, the well-known eccentric Denis Santachiara, the functionalist Martin Ballendat or the male-female studio Lorenz+Kaz.
